About this directory
What this directory is
Georgia Roofing Contractor Guide is an independent listing of 600 roofing contractor businesses across the state, built for homeowners and property managers trying to figure out who to call for a roof repair, replacement, or inspection. We are not a trade association and we do not do the roofing work ourselves. What we do is pull together public business information and recent Google review activity for every roofing company we can verify operates in Georgia, then organize it into something you can actually compare at a glance.
We do not republish review text. Instead, we read the pattern of recent reviews for each business and summarize what that sentiment looks like, then link out to the source on Google so you can read the original reviews yourself before deciding anything.
How rankings get built
Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied consistently to the same data points: things like review volume, review recency, rating trends, and business information completeness. Nobody pays to move up the list. The scoring is mechanical, applied the same way to every contractor in the state, and fully laid out on our /methodology/ page if you want to see exactly how the numbers get crunched.
Because rankings are earned from data, a listed business cannot edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position relative to competitors. What a business can do is flag factual errors in its own listing, things like a wrong phone number, an outdated address, or a service area that’s changed, and we’ll correct those details after a quick check.
Where sponsorship fits in
Some pages carry a section clearly labelled “Sponsored.” That placement is always shown separately from the earned rankings, never blended into them, and never allowed to bump a business up or down the actual rubric-based order. If you see a sponsored listing, it’s disclosed as exactly that, nothing hidden.
The enquiry side of things
Georgia Roofing Contractor Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, but it also does more than list names. We generate enquiries for local roofing providers: if you ask to be matched with someone, we pass your request along to providers relevant to your request, and we may earn a referral fee for that introduction. That arrangement never touches scores or earned rankings, and the quote page spells out the details before you submit anything.
Who’s behind it
This directory is published by Regional Rosters, an independent publisher of local business guides that’s been building directories from public business data and published review information since 2026. Regional Rosters doesn’t sell placement; every listing earns its spot through actual performance, refreshed on a monthly cycle so the rankings stay current instead of stale. The goal is a shortlist of the contractors people in a given area genuinely rely on, paired with a way for those contractors to hear from customers actively looking for them.
Editorial oversight for this directory sits with Mei Tan, Senior Editor at Regional Rosters, who maintains the rubric and reviews how it’s applied. Data refreshes monthly, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see it’s being actively maintained rather than left to go out of date.
Questions, corrections, or sponsorship inquiries can go to hello@regionalrosters.com, or you can find more of the publisher’s work at regionalrosters.com.

FAQ
- Can a roofing contractor pay to rank higher on this site?
- No. Rankings come from a published rubric applied to public business data and review patterns. Sponsored placements are labelled clearly and kept separate from the earned rankings.
- Can a listed business change its own review sentiment or score?
- No. A business can correct factual details like address, phone number, or service area, but it cannot edit its sentiment summary, score, or ranking position.
- Do you show the actual Google review text?
- No. We synthesize recent review activity into a sentiment summary and link out to Google so you can read the original reviews at the source.
- What happens if I ask to be matched with a roofing contractor?
- We pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may earn a referral fee for that introduction. This never affects any business's score or ranking, and details are disclosed on the quote page.
- How often is the data updated?
- The full directory refreshes monthly, and each listing shows a last verified date so you can see when it was last checked.
